No GUI, no method...

The Brief

The brief asked to identify a set of lyrics by a musician or group as the content for this project which will focus on a systematic approach to selecting and using typography and consolidating many of the typographic principles of hierarchy, layout and detailing covered in years 1–2. In addition I had to present my project as a small interactive app prototype using Adobe XD.

We were instructed to use a limited palette of one or two colours ( black counts as a colour, white does not ) and one or two typeface families, to design a small phone app for an anthology of lyrics for a musician of our choice. The app displays the following content: name of musician and title, search options for lyrics, song lists, and one or two individual songs with full lyrics (title, writer, year, pull quote).
